In She Wolf, Zac is gunning for Lillabet La Mer but to get her out into the open he has to somehow bankrupt Malcolm and in the process expose a traitor within his midst . .. this case file is high octane cryptoanarchism gone mad!
Still intent on bringing Peter's murderers to justice, Zac is taking on the shadowy world of anarchic liberalism in an attempt to bring The Foundation and Malcolm to their knees. Recruiting Colin and Richard, Gordon, Saint Michel and the boys at the Kangaroo Club to the cause, he plots and schemes only to find that the one person who should have had his back has turned bad. Survival relies on the one person whom Zac vowed never to work with again.
Snaring Lillabet La Mer has unforeseen consequences - the exposure of the traitor also brings with it a cryptic clue which may just hold the key to bringing Henry to the dock. In contemplating the trip to New York and the ultimate showdown, Zac finds an unlikely ally. The stage is set.
‘She Wolf’ is the eighth case file from ‘Zac Tremble Investigates - Series 2’ and follows: ‘Skull & Crossbones’, ‘The Gene Pool’, ‘No Man Is An Island’, ‘The Soho Triangle’, ‘Anastasia’s Diamonds’, ‘Paris Re-Visited’ and ‘Viva La Tremble’.
If you didn’t already know, Zac and his husband Paul are young, gay and lusty. This story has an adult theme, aside from the case being investigated. The descriptions of the sexual relationships are not especially graphic, but they are, nevertheless, a feature.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy the story. Feedback is especially welcome and I would be delighted to hear from you.
